My strength trainer recently recommended a test booster with shilajit in it. He and I have both been struggling with my most recent plateau, and it has been frustrating to say the least. I lift pretty good and have a lot of lean mass on my frame, but I’m not quite happy. I’m at the overall body weight I want to be at, but there still a stubborn accumulation of fat around my waist that I haven’t been able to convert into muscle through recomp.
He and I have been butting heads with this issue for a while. Plateaus certainly happen, but they’re not supposed to last forever and this one is about to have its six month birthday. That’s far longer than any other plateau I’ve ever had before, and it’s the longest this coach has seen in any client as dedicated as I am.
We’ve done every possible alteration and adaptation to my training regimen to get through it or past it, but to no avail, so lately he’s been asking me about my diet and supplements.
Some of his other lifters are on test boosters, like me, and for the same reasons. I don’t take them in order to get big bulky, but instead, I lift and take the test boosters both to get stronger and healthy. I’m not looking to be a professional bodybuilder or professional wrestler, but I do want to have the strength to toss my great grand-kids in the air when I get that old.
Some of his other lifters have been swearing by shilajit, so that’s why he asked to go here to try a new test booster with shilajit in it. I’m honestly not sure if it’s the answer I need, but at this point I’m willing to try anything.
